The Day Jesus was Resurrected

Some say we should not celebrate this day because it has pagan origins. Some say it is ok as long as we focus on family. Some just don’t care and go along with the crowd.

Of course, to the spiritual minded this day should be celebrated each and every day for the simple reason that this day is above all other days with the possible exception of that blessed day when our Lord was born into this world.

This is the day, our brother, the Lord Jesus Christ was resurrected. What a day! What a hope! Particularly in the “our brother” part! If it can be done to him, then why not his brothers?

Christians have real problems with this “our brother” part. I asked a Jehovah Witness once, what was the difference between me and our Lord Jesus Christ. He, of course, looked at me like I was an idiot! But then again what is the difference between a human 4 year old and a human 60 year old? Experience? Wisdom? Understanding? Knowledge? Experience? Did I say experience?

See, this is what is wrong with you Christians. You actually believe that there is a fundamental difference between yourself, others and our Lord Jesus Christ. And this is where you are mistaken.

Just as we are brothers in flesh, we are also brothers in spirit! One with each other, Jesus Christ and our Father in heaven forever and ever. Amen. And there is not a damn thing you can do about it because you did not create yourself or anyone else for that matter and the end result of your creation is not up to you!

It is temporarily true that you have “created” a world where you can believe all sorts of nonsense! It is a world without knowledge of God or yourself let alone your brothers in Christ. Maybe that is why you spend so much time searching for truth? You decided to forget it!

This is the day to remember, as is everyday, who you really are, who I am and who everyone else is!
